Who we are

Velora Books (digtal.store) is operated by Velora Books Ltd.. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit or buy from our website, why we use it, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• When you buy: your name and email address, the book you bought, the amount paid, the order and payment reference numbers, and the date and time. We also record how many times an order has been downloaded.
• Payment details: these are entered on Razorpay's secure payment form and processed by Razorpay. We never receive your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank login.
• Technical data: our server and hosting provider keep standard logs — such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested — for security and troubleshooting.
• Analytics: if enabled on this site, Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel record how visitors use the website (for example pages viewed, buttons clicked and purchases), using cookies.

Why we use your data

• To process your order and deliver your ebook, and to let you download it again later.
• To answer your questions and resolve problems with your order or payment.
• To prevent fraud and keep the website secure.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send you marketing emails unless you have asked us to.

Who we share it with

• Razorpay, to process your payment.
• Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its database.
• Google and Meta, only if analytics are enabled, under their own privacy policies.
• Government or law-enforcement authorities, where we are required to by law.

Cookies

• One essential cookie keeps your checkout and download page working during your visit.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) are used only if they are enabled on this site. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as you may need to re-download your ebooks and for the period required by Indian tax and accounting laws. Server logs are kept only for a limited time.

How we protect it

The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, payments are handled by Razorpay, every download link contains a long secret token, and administrative access is password-protected.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you access to, correct or erase your personal data, or withdraw your consent, by emailing support@velora.store. We may need to keep some order records to meet legal obligations. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
